Jason Fallon (Thornbury Golf Centre) produced a birdie fest to win his first Titleist-FootJoy League with an impressive three-under-par 67 at Weston-super-Mare.
The former Holsworthy assistant, aged 29, finished with four birdies in six holes from the 12th after earlier picking up shots at the fourth and seventh.
He dropped shots at the sixth, tenth and at the closing hole, yet retained a two-shot margin over Cardiff assistant Rhys Davies who has been showing steady form since returning from a winter playing spell in America.
Davies picked up four birdies in eight holes in mid-round after shedding shots at the first and sixth holes.
But his challenge on a sunny day beside the seaside ended with a bogey at the 16.
Three players shared third on level par. Ross Daniel (Royal North Devon) made five birdies but was too inconsistent.
Barrie Forster (North Wilts) played the back nine in two-under after gaining shots at the 14th and 17th. Dan Carter (Upavon) finished with a flourish, making three birdies in the final four holes.
Fallon made it double by collecting the betterball award with 16-handicapper Lee Richards with 44 stableford points. Carter and Alistair Hunt, off 12, were one point adrift, taking second on countback from Katie Rule (St Enodoc), playing with her father John who plays off nine.
