Remedy Oak assistant Dominic Knight won his first event as a professional by sharing top spot in the Dorset and Wiltshire PGA medal in the Race to Bowood winter series at Kingsdown.
The 22-year-old former England schoolboy international from Bournemouth clinched the win with late eagles at the par five 15th and par four 17th. It was his best result since reaching final qualifying for The Open in 2015 while an amateur at Ferndown. He dropped four shots and made 12 pars.
He shared with Wiltshire pair Mark Sandry (Swindon Premier Golf Academy) and Henry Pallas (Upavon). Sandry would have won outright but for a disastrous eight on the par three 16th. He was then comfortably in the lead after a birdie at 14 followed by an eagle. He did recover to finish with two birdies. Pallas made five birdies, including two at the final holes.
Ben Christey-Clover was fourth on 74 followed one shot behind previous winner Greg Davies (South Cerney).
