Fleming finishes four ahead at Oxford

Tom Fleming (Donnington Grove) shot a one-under-par 69 to finish top of a strong field at the Oxford Golf Club pro-am.

From a field which included current European Tour player Eddie Pepperell, Fleming was the only player to better par as windy conditions created havoc on the score cards. His round included an eagle on the par four 14th hole.

Pepperell finished runner-up, 2 strokes back on one-over-par, with Chris Rodgers and Jamie Cook ending in a tie for 3rd place on three-over-par 73.

Paul Simpson and his team of Jason Kendal, Jane Brackenbury and Tony Coventry were winners of the team event with a fantastic score of -15.
