Fleming flourishes on home turf

Tom Fleming conquered the wind and cold to win the opening event in the 2014 BB&O PGA calendar at Frilford Heath.

Playing over the fantastically presented Red Course that despite the recent weather was in very good condition, Fleming used his undoubted home knowledge to card a fine four-under-par 68 for a two stroke winning margin. 

Runner up was PGA Cup player John Kennedy (Wexham Park) with a 70 while Ben O’Dell and Scott Marshall finished tied third with scores of 71.

The next winter series event will take place at Rye Hill Golf Club on Thursday March 20.
