European Senior Tour player George Ryall recorded his fourth win of the Gloucester and Somerset PGA winter season on his first visit to Naunton Downs.
The Players Club man shot three-under-par 68 over the Cotswolds venue to win by one from Giuseppe Licata (Bristol Golf Centre) and amateur duo Nigel Gravell (Players) and Matt Kippen (Enmore Park).
A field of 27 travelled to the most northern outpost of the two counties on a sunny day with light winds.
Ryall opened with a bogey but followed with birdies at the third and fifth. Three more birdies at the 13th, 15th and 17th, marred by his second bogey at the 16th, completed his winning round.
Licata covered the last 10 holes in four-under-par after an uncharacteristic slow start when was two over after eight holes. He has increased his lead in the Total Triumph Order of Merit to more than 80 points over Ed Goodwin (Cirencester).
Amateur Nigel Gravell enjoyed his best showing in a PGA medal with a share of second spot, capping his round with an eagle three at the 13th. Gravell also held bragging rights over his brother, Players Club professional Paul, who could only finish in a share of fifth on 70 alongside David Dixon (Enmore Park).
