Graham Fox (above) shot a six-under-par 62 to win the VSA Tartan pro-am at Aboyne Golf Club.
He nipped past clubhouse leader Greig McBain (Gamola Golf) to snatch the first prize of £996 by a one-stroke margin from the Aberdonian.
It was Fox's sixth win on the Tartan Tour this season and boosted his domestic earnings to £16,982. He had seven birdies - at the second, third, ninth, long 10th, 14th, 15th and 18th. His only bogey came late, at the 16th.
McBain, who picked up £797, had no bogeys but ‘only’ five birdies - at the fourth, sixth, seventh, eighth and 11th.
Greig Hutcheon, playing probably as near where he was brought up as he can get on the Tartan Tour, finished third with a 63.
Hutcheon led the winning amateur team to victory with an 18-under-par net total of 118. The "Enquest" team comprised Jim Paterson (handicap 18), Ross Bremner (7) and Craig Donnelly (18).
