The hugely popular England’s Golf Coast pro-am wends its way from Merseyside to the Fylde for the third staging of the 54-hole event.

And, as last year, PGA North are inviting teams from across the country to join them at Fairhaven, St Annes Old Links and fabulous Royal Lytham & St Annes.

“This is a great chance for professionals and amateurs to play these three fantastic courses,” enthused PGA North secretary Graham Maly.

“When we launched the competition we all felt it deserved to be shared with a wider audience.”

The first round will be at Fairhaven on May 24 followed by St Annes Old Links then the famed Open Championship course at Royal Lytham where the prize presentations will be made.

Maly added: “We consider it a great honour to hold the event at such fabulous venues and we hope they will attract a full field.”

Geoff Harris, England’s Golf Coast manager, added: “It represents good value for money when you consider the venues and the prizes on offer.”

Teams comprise a PGA professional and three amateurs and cost £1,500. The £8,000 prize fund is based on 20 teams and there will be a meal at each venue.
