Gabbitas gathers momentum

Simon Gabbitas continued his excellent form this year by winning the President’s Day Pro-Am at Kidderminster Golf Club.

The Hagley pro notched up 41 points to finish ahead of the Worcestershire president himself Iain Clark (Hagley) with 38 points.

Clark’s son Cameron (Moor Hall) was third with 36 points while tied for fourth place with 35 points were Dan Clee (Evesham) and Chris Mole (Bromsgrove).

The team event was won by Mole’s team with a superb score of 87 points with contributions from amateur partners Andy Street, Luke Rowlands and Josh McMahon.
