Chris Goddard (Romford) and Rob Coles (Maylands) finished out in front at Canons Brook to book their spots for the Lynx Golf Championship at The Rayleigh Club.
The pair were in fine form, shooting one-under-par 72s. Goddard fired five birdies in his round, while ex-European Tour ace Coles managed four.
Another Tour star Raymond Russell (Centurion) was among a trio of players who finished in a tie for third at level par. Murray White (Centurion) and George Fleet (Hartsbourne) also shot 73.
In total, there were 18 qualifiers for the season’s final Order of Merit event, which will take place at The Rayleigh Club on September 23-24.
Both Luke Bowers (Lakeside Lodge) and Daniel Fickling (Bush Hill Park) needed late birdies to force their way through on the mark. Bowers edged in at three-over after picking up a shot at 17, while Fickling did likewise at the par-five 18th hole.
