Golf clubs in Republic of Ireland to close under Level 5 COVID restrictions

The Irish Government has announced a move to Level 5 COVID restrictions from midnight on 30th December 2020.

This means that golf clubs, driving ranges and practice facilities in the Republic of Ireland must close with immediate effect.

Coaching – whether indoors or outdoors – is not permitted. This also includes the coaching of children.

All non-essential retail outlets, which includes Pro Shops, must shut after close of business on 31st December 2020.
