Olympic skier Adam Žampa revealed his sporting skills by competing against 38 skiing golfers in the sixth annual SKI&GOLF Slovakia Championship at Black Stork.
The PGA branded facility played host to this unique event which demanded an exhibition across both disciplines – a tradition in Slovakia which dates back more than 100 years.
“I didn´t realise that golf was such a demanding sport,” said Žampa after playing 36 holes during two days.
As expected, Žampa won the giant slalom with a time of 34:80 seconds and the fastest from the women was Zuzana Kamasová with the racing time of 42:23 seconds.
But it was Kamasová who prevailed on the course with rounds of 73 and 75 to win the overall SKI&GOLF competition with a total number of points 316,92.
