Hampshire gains wise new sponsor

Hampshire-based Be Wiser Insurance is set to strengthen its ties with the region’s golfing community after signing a three-year deal with the Professional Golfers’ Association in Hampshire.

The fast-growing insurance broker has secured naming rights for the Be Wiser Insurance PGA in Hampshire and is also title sponsor of its four key tournaments.

Marketing director Andrew Dunkerley said the three-year deal would enable Be Wiser to reach even wider audiences than ever before.

“As a company we are involved in a wide range of sporting events from the British Superbikes through to Championship football,’’ said Andrew. “We have enjoyed working with the Hampshire PGA in the past and are thrilled to announce this three-year agreement which reinforces our support of the wider sporting community.

“These high-profile events are a good opportunity to extend our sponsorship of sport and enable more people to learn about Be Wiser Insurance,” he added.

Roger Tuddenham, secretary of The PGA in Hampshire said he was delighted that Be Wiser will continue as a partner.

“To have the backing of a hugely successful company very much based in Hampshire is a real boost for professional golf in the county,’’ said Roger. “A three-year deal gives us a great opportunity to plan for the future and ensure we stage top class events and showcase great golfing talent.”
