Devon-based Paul Hendriksen will aim to cap a memorable year by winning the PGA Play-Offs in Turkey this week.
The Ivybridge pro has already captured the Titleist & FootJoy PGA Professional Championship and was part of the victorious Great Britain & Ireland PGA Cup team in California.
Now the Plymouth pro joins PGA in England (South West) Order of Merit winner Lee Thompson (Dudsbury), James Ruth (China Fleet G&CC) and Adam Frayne (Yelverton) in the end of season finale at Antalya Golf Club from November 27-30.
The 72-hole tournament, played over the PGA Sultan course, carries a £15,000 prize fund plus entry to a number of European and Challenge Tour events including the BMW PGA Championship for the top 10.
Hendriksen will be reunited with fellow PGA Cup winners Gareth Wright, Graham Fox and Cameron Clark who have also qualified.
For West OOM winner Thompson, it will be a third appearances in the Play-Offs and caps a return to form.
“Winning the Order of Merit was my target and I have played more consistently this year, helped by my coach Stuart Little,” he said.
“This will be my third visit to the PGA Play-Offs – I went to Turkey three years ago and played at Royal Liverpool previously – and I am really looking forward to it.”
