Ian Taylor (Bothwell Castle) and Eastwood's David Orr shared the spoils in the Cawder Golf Club pro-am.

Both hit the three-under-par mark of 67 but by different routes.

Taylor had six birdies in all - the fourth, sixth, 11th, 12th, 13th and 16th in halves of 35-32 with bogeys at the third, ninth and 18th.

Orr was the steadier with four birdies - sixth, seventh, 11th and 12th - but only one bogey, at the 15th, in halves of 33-34.

It was first Tartan Tour win of the season for both. Taylor working up to it with 19th in the Gleneagles Scottish PGA Professional Championship, ninth in the Pollok pro-am and fifth at Bishopbriggs.

Orr has also been in good form recently with two seconds - Largs and the P&H Championship - and fourth at Gleneagles.

Craig Haugh of the home club finished in third place, only one shot behind Taylor and Orr with halves of 33-35.
