Housden triumphs at Woodrigde

Craig Housden, Channels Golf Club, was the clear winner at Woodridge with an excellent round of 68; enough to win by two shots over Matt King, Rayleigh Golf Range. Finishing third with two over 72 was Brett Taylor which puts him top of the Essex Order of Merit.
The team event went down to the last putt as Matt Stables, Rivenhall Oaks Golf Centre, took the spoils with his team scoring 85 points to win by 1 point over Craig Housden’s team. Newly appointed Essex Captain Chris Cutchie, Colchester Golf Club, took third place.
