Luke Howe has notched up a rare feat by bagging albatross twos on the same hole in successive Staffordshire winter pro-ams at Great Barr Golf Club.
The Brocton Hall assistant pro won the pro-ams on each occasions by a single shot.
Howe, aged 22, achieved the double on the 497-yard par-5 seventh hole (the 16th) of his round at the Birmingham course.
Nevil Bland, head pro at Brocton Hall, commented: “Luke’s second shot sailed over the trees to the green and after much searching, they found he had holed it for an albatross two and he ended up winning with a score of one-under-par.
“This year, last week, he did exactly the same for the same score and same result!”
