Hutch and Arnott tie for victory

Greig Hutcheon (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre) tied with Robert Arnott (Bishopbriggs) with each earning £1,260 after sharing first place with five-under-par 66s in the Kippie Lodge Country Club Pro-Am at Peterculter Golf Club.

It was Hutcheon's seventh win on the Tartan Tour this season, four of them at Aberdeenshire venues.

He achieved his 66 despite a lost ball at the short 15th. He had seven birdies, including five in a row from the fifth. Arnott also had seven birdies and two bogeys.

Colin Gillies (Kingsfield) led the Kippie Lodge 2 team of Connor Forbes (handicap 8), Ms Jo Leslie (24) and Bruce Harwood (18) to a five-shot victory in the pro-am event with a net best ball total of 21-under-par 121.
