Serial winner Greig Hutcheon has his sights set on becoming the first man to claim three victories in the end-of-season PGA Play-Offs.

Hutcheon, whose previous victories came in 2010 and 2013, qualified for this year’s event on the back of a fourth-place finish in the PGA in Scotland’s Order of Merit.

The Paul Lawrie Golf Centre attached PGA Professional will also be looking to secure his sixth consecutive appearance at the BMW PGA Championship.

Hutcheon has appeared in the European Tour’s flagship event each year since 2011, and will qualify yet again if he finishes among the top ten over Antalya Golf Club’s PGA Sultan Course on November 27-30.

Alongside 10 spots in the Wentworth showpiece, there are also several other European Tour and Challenge Tour starts available for the leaders on the Mediterranean coast, as well as a share of the £15,000 prize fund.

Hutcheon has had a good year and, alongside his strong regional showing, qualified to appear in the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open in July.

The 42 year old will be joined by a strong Scottish contingent in Turkey, comprised of Chris Kelly, Gareth Wright (West Linton), and Graham Fox (Clydeway Golf).

This will be the third consecutive year that Fox has qualified to play at this event, a sixth place finish in 2013 his best finish during that time.

Both Fox and Wright were part of the GB&I team that claimed PGA Cup victory on US soil for the first time in history earlier this year.
