Hutton wins Midland Alliance at Scotscraig

Kenny Hutton scored a solid two-under-par 69 to win the Midland Golfers' Alliance fixture at Scotscraig Golf Club, Fife.

The win marks a return to form for the Downfield professional, who recently failed to gain pass marks at the European Senior Tour Final Q School.

Hutton, originally from Muir of Ord, won by three shots from four players on the 72 mark.

Winners of the Hi Tech Acoustic Services Ltd pro-am, with a better inward half, were unattached pro Steve Martin and amateurs Drew Herd (Scotscraig) (13), Jack Cree (Scotscraig) (12) and Jim Brown (Kirkcaldy) (7) with a net total of 127.
