Jarman starts season with a win

Sam Jarman, Woburn Golf Club, kicked off the BB&O's pro-am season opener at Drayton Park in style, claiming victory with a one-under-par 69.

The former EuroPro Tour player shot an impress five birdies on his way to leading to field and was the only player with an under par score from the professional field. He finished a stroke clear of runner-up David Stanton with Jon Jones Scott Marshall and Jake Baldwin finishing third with a two-over-par 72.

Next stop is the Oxford Golf Club pro-am on Friday, May 5 where BB&O pro’s will be challenging home professional Joe Pepperell’s brother, European Tour player Eddie, who will no doubt be trying to get his own back after Joe beat him to top spot last year.
