Keogh wins Lincs Match Play title

Spalding’s Adam Keogh defeated Paul Streeter (Lincoln Golf Centre) to win the PGA in Lincolnshire Match Play title.

It followed confirmation of Lincolnshire’s PING Order of Merit at the Spalding GC pro-am in the last week of September which was won by Streeter with Keogh second.

The top eight players from the Order of Merit qualified for the Match Play finals which were played on October 8-9 at Spalding.

Streeter overcame Andrew Miller (Ashby Decoy GC) in the first semi final while Keogh defeated Scott Emery.

The final was scheduled over 18 holes and was a closely contested affair with Keogh reversing the Order of Merit of positions, winning 3&2.
