Langford in historic appointment

Christine Langford, a founder member of the Ladies European Tour, has become the first female PGA Professional at Thorpeness Golf Club in the club’s 93 year history.
The 58 year old who succeeds Frank Hill, 72 ,who has just retired after 20 years, told Women & Golf magazine that she felt ‘honoured’ and ‘privileged’ to land the role.
Langford has been using the Suffolk gem as the UK base for her golf schools and coaching.
