Jason Levermore (Little Channels Golf Centre) made six birdies and an eagle as he powered to victory in the Brookmans Park Pro-Am.
The Essex ace shot a six-under-par round of 65 to win by three from Chris Cutchie (Colchester) and Mark Hooper (The Rayleigh Club).
His triumph was based on a sizzling front nine that saw him birdie four straight holes from the second.
Levermore upped the ante even further at the seventh where he made an eagle three.
At six-under through seven holes anything looked on the cards before a solitary blip at the eighth.
But he pulled back that stroke with yet another birdie at the 13th and then duly parred his way home.
James Watts (Kingsway Golf Centre) finished in tie for fourth alongside James Scade (Little Channels Golf Centre). He also led the winning team on a total of 120 – six clear of the next quartet.
