Levermore wins at Chigwell

Jason Levermore put the competition to the sword to win The PGA in Essex annual pro-am at Chigwell.
The Channels pro hit a bogey-free four-under-par round of 67 to win by three strokes from James Webber of Three Rivers Golf and Country Club and Andy Shakespear of The Warren Golf Club.
In the pro-am event, which had a strong field of 24 teams, locals took the first four places with the winning team from Chigwell coming in with an impressive 88 stableford points.
The team was steered home by James Webber and comprised Chigwell members Andy Ruff, Julian Swain and Ray Andes.
