Jason Levermore (Little Channels Golf Centre) will take a slender lead into the final round of the London Open, supported by Golfbreaks.com
Levermore saw his advantage cut from four to one as the challengers piled on the pressure through day two at West Essex.
The Essex PGA professional signed for a two-over 72 that left him at five-under-par. Chris Croucher (Cottesmore) closed the gap with a second-round 69 to lead the pursuers.
Paul Nessling (Cooden Beach), Jordan Godwin (Barneshurst), Mark Talbott (Thorpe Hall) and Richard Wallis (Canterbury) are all a further stroke back on three-under.
A total of 57 players have qualified for the third round with the cut coming at six-over-par.
The final day gets underway at 8am with Levermore, Croucher and Nessling making up the final group, who are due out at 11.36am.
