Three golfers shared the spoils at the Enville Pro-Am at the end of a day that also saw Northamptonshire golfer Simon Lilly land a hole-in-one.
Lilly (Wellingborough GC) bagged his ace at the 214-yard par three second on his way to a three-under-par 69.
That proved one shot shy with the leading trio completing the event with 68s.
Paul Bradshaw (Gainsborough GC) bagged five birdies on his round – four of them on the outward nine.
James Whatley (Morley Hayes GC) dropped a shot at the first but recovered to reach four-under at the turn while Cornwall’s Richard O’Hanlon (The Point at Polzeith GC) made a dazzling start to reach the turn at five-under.
Craig Shave (Whetstone GC) also carded a 69 to finish alongside Lilly while Enville’s own Richard Copsey finished on level par, helped by a run of four birdies from his opening five holes.
