Owen Evans and Jack Lynch shared first place as The PGA in England (Midlands) captain Ian Walley hosted his charity pro-am at Kedleston Park.
Evans (PT Golf) shot a consistent 43 point total with seven birdies and no dropped shots before being joined by Lynch (Tapton Park) at the top of the leaderboard.
The latter’s score was made in more dramatic style with seven birdies and an eagle, although it was a costly bogey at the 17th that prevented him securing the outright win.
A very successful day for Walley and the popular Derbyshire club as 32 teams took part with over £3,500 raised, split between Kedleston captain Chris Nye's charity, The Parkinson's Society and Walley's choice, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund.
