Heather MacRae carried the standard for the WPGA in the second Rose Ladies Series event of the season at Woburn in a tournament in which the course and conditions provided a challenging test.
So much so that no member of the 60-strong field that included Ladies European Tour winners Megan MacLaren, Annabel Dimmock and Dame Laura Davies broke par.
Liz Young, another LET member, came closest by posting a level-par round of 72 to finish two strokes clear of MacLaren and Chloe Williams and claim the £10,000 winner’s cheque.
MacRae was three strokes further back after a five-over-par round of 77 that left her tied-11th with Gabriella Cowley, the winner of the first event of the series at West Lancashire Golf Club, and Felicity Johnson.
It also left the Scot a shot ahead of fellow WPGA members, 2020 One-Day Series winner Keely Chiericato and Sian Evans.
The next event in the 11-tournament series sponsored by 2013 US Open champion and 2018 Olympic gold medal winner Justin Rose, his wife Kate, American Golf and Computacenter UK will be at Brockenhurst Manor Golf Club, Hampshire on May 13.
