Runaway PGA in England (Midlands) money list leader Paul Streeter made it seven wins for the season in his latest triumph at the Luffenham Heath pro-am.
The Lincoln Golf Centre star did all the hard work early this time, firing six birdies on the Open qualifying layout on his way to a blistering front nine of 29.
The tougher closing half did yield a dropped shot but Streeter had enough in hand to stay ahead and record a one-shot win, closing with a five-under-par 65.
Craig Shave followed up his win at Northampton with a fine 66 to share the runners up spot with both Matthew Cort and Danny Taylor. Cort (Rothley Park) fired five birdies in his round but was left to rue a costly dropped shot at the 17th hole.
Taylor (Robert Rock Golf Academy) recorded his best result of the season with a blemish-free round which contained four birdies.
Wellingborough's Simon Lilly and his fourball were victorious in the team event, their score of 128 enough to win by two.
