European Tour regular Damien McGrane swept the field in round three of the PGA Winter Series at Old Conna GC sponsored by Titleist and FootJoy.
The 43 year old lifted the individual prize with a three-under-par round of 69 whilst guiding amateur partner, Ciaran Walsh (12), to team success with 45 points.
McGrane actually made a slow start to his own bid for victory, dropping shots at the opening two holes of the Co Wicklow course, but birdies at the fifth and sixth got him to the turn in level-par.
The Meath man showed his class on the back nine, rattling off three birdies at the 11th, 16th and 18th along with six pars to seal victory by three shots.
Melvyn Flanagan (Athlone Golf Academy), Daniel Beattie (Deer Park GC) and Donal Gleeson (Old Conna GC) finished in joint second place with level-par rounds of 72.
The battle for the fourball team prize was a closer affair with McGrane and Walsh just edging out Beattie and partner Gary Cullen (13) by a single shot. Third place went to Leonard Owens (Royal Dublin GC) and partner Connor Dillon (14) with 42 points.
Donal Gleeson still leads the way in the Cobra Golf supported Winter Series OOM ahead of Beattie and Leslie Walker (Dundalk GC).
Round four of the series is at Rush GC on March 20th.
