All Members are being encouraged to play an integral part in shaping the future of the Association by completing the largest online survey undertaken by The PGA.
Chief executive, Robert Maxfield, has defined a focus for The PGA, which centres on ‘improving the personal and professional lives of its Members’.
It is therefore essential the Association finds out if is meeting the expectations of its Members.
To do this, The PGA is engaging with them, allowing them an opportunity to express their opinions and influence its future direction.
Sports Marketing Surveys, an independent and experienced research company, has been commissioned to conduct the survey which will cover a wide range of topics, including continual professional development, member benefits, career development and playing opportunities.
Members have the option to fill out a shorter survey, which will take approximately 15 minutes, although there is an option to expand on all themes to allow them the opportunity to provide as much detail as possible.
It is hoped everyone will complete the shortened version, while as many as possible are encouraged to complete a longer version of the survey for maximal feedback.
The data will remain anonymous and be scrutinised by Sports Marketing Surveys before being fed back to The PGA.
Tristan Crew, executive director – member services said: “I am delighted to announce the launch of this Members’ survey.
“However, if The PGA is going to harvest any meaningful results we will need comment from as many of them as possible.
“I very much hope they take this opportunity to influence the future direction of
their Association.”
An email has been sent to all PGA Members which includes a link to the survey and a deadline of Friday 1st December has been set with the aim of presenting the results at the regional Members’ meetings (formerly AGMs) in early 2018.
