Munro scales heights with 65

Ross Munro (Duddingston) has opened up a commanding four-shot lead at the halfway stage of the Sandy Pipey Young Masters 36-hole tournament at Royal Dornoch Golf Club.
Munro shot a five-under-par 65 with birdies at the first, ninth, 11th, 13th, 16th and 17th in halves of 33 and 32. He also bogeyed the 18th.
His nearest challenger is Eastwood's Steven Maxwell with halves of 33 and 36 for a 69. He birdied the second, seventh and 17th but bogeyed the 12th and 15th.
Musselburgh’s Cameron Carr is in third place after a 70.
