Gareth Wright (West Linton) and Chris Kelly both shot third round 67s to move four shots clear of Craig Ronald after three rounds.
Cruden Bay is traditional Scottish links golf course, originally designed by Tom Morris and Archie Simpson, and only two hours drive from St Andrews, the Home of Golf.
