Paul O'Hara (North Lanarkshire Leisure) slashed two strokes off John Greaves' 20-year-old Largs course record with a nine-under-par 61 to win the £875 first individual prize by six strokes from David Orr (Eastwood).
O'Hara had an eagle at the fifth and birdies at the long third, short fourth, sixth, long 12th, 13th, 15th, 16th and 17th in halves of 30 (four under) and 31 (five under). He had one bogey, at the seventh.
Orr earned £670 with his four-birdie, one bogey 67.
Orr's team "BMW 3" pipped O'Hara's "Three Reasons" squad on a countback after they both finished with 16-under-par 54s. The winning amateurs were Russell Borrie (handicap 18), Gregor Borrie (11) and Robert Wilson (13).
