Scottish Young Professional champion Paul O'Hara scored his sixth win of the Tartan Tour season with a brilliant round of eight-under-par 63 at the Drumpellier Pro-Am.

O’Hara, now representing North Lanarkshire Leisure, had two strokes to spare at the finish from joint runners-up Paul McKechnie (Braid Hills) and James McGhee (Whitehill House).

O'Hara's prize of £1,333 plus £160 for also winning the pro-am team event boosted his season's earnings to £23,607, less than £500 behind the man currently topping the money table, Greig Hutcheon (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre Inchmarlo).

Hutcheon earned £493 for a three-way share of fourth place with Jonathan Lomas (Caprington) and Mark Kerr (Dalmahoy) and his 2016 earnings now amount to £24,080.

O'Hara led the Avia Signs 1 team of Cat Gardiner (handicap 17), Karen Wright (20) and Stephen Kennedy (18) to victory in the pro-am team event with a 20-under-par net score of 122.
