O'Hara is first past the post in Sprint at Dumfries & County

Paul O’Hara continues to hold the Arnold Clark Tartan Tour’s Order of Merit in a double nelson after notching another victory in the latest 18-hole Sprint event at Dumfries & County.

The 34-year-old, who has swept up a host of honours during the 2021 campaign, posted a four-under 65 to finish one shot clear of Aberdeen veteran Scott Henderson and stick a cheque for £500 into his back pocket.

During a tidy round, O’Hara made a decisive move with back-to-birdies at the 14^th and 15^th as he finished at the top of the pile in an Order of Merit event for the seventh time this season.

Henderson, the former European Tour rookie of the year, hit a 66 with James McGhee and Stephen Gray, who shared the honours in the last Sprint event at Crow Wood, finishing in a tie for third on 67.
