Paul O'Hara (Clydeway Golf) endured a nightmare 10 at the par-four seventh hole at Dumfries and Galloway GC but still qualified with ease for the Kerr Investments Order of Merit Pro-Am at the same venue at the end of the month.
O'Hara (above) covered his remaining holes in four-under-par with birdies at the 10th 13th, 17th and 18th to return a two-over-par 72 and qualify in a share of 14th place.
In all, 29 players booked their place in the Order of Merit event including Gordon Law (Uphall), who carded 68, Craig Ronald (Carluke) 71 and Fraser Mann (Musselburgh) 74.
The qualifier was won by home pro Ross Jack with a three-under-par 67.
