Kings Acre professional Andrew Oldcorn (above) headed a field of 102 with a two-under-par round of 68 at Peebles in this week's Edinburgh and East of Scotland Alliance competition at Peebles.
Oldcorn won the top scratch prize by a one stroke from Zack Saltman (Archerfield) with two more pros sharing third place on 70, Scott Catlin (Greenburn) and Alan Reid (West Lothian).
Oldcorn lost out on a countback for the Michael Memorial Trophy, awarded to the best net score on the day.
Eighteen-year-old Liam Allison, a five-handicapper at Bathgate, had a net 68 and prevailed over Oldcorn with the better inward half, but only by half a stroke - 34.5 (37 less 2.5) to Oldcorn's 35.
