Mark O'Sullivan (above) cleaned up at the Tralee Pro-Am claiming both individual and team honours. The Piltown Driving Range pro carded a three-under 69 to hold off Jimmy Bolger (Kilkenny GC) by a shot at the Arnold Palmer designed course in Co Kerry.
Starting at the 10th, O'Sullivan went to the turn in three-under 33 with birdies at the 11th, 13th and 18th. The 33-year-old found the back nine more challenging, recording three birdies, three bogeys and three pars for a level par 36.
Bolger got off to a poor start, dropped a shot at his opening hole, the 478 yard par four 10th.
He battled back with birdies at the 14th and 18th taking him to the turn in one-under 35.
The Kilkenny based pro produced a very similar score on the back nine, dropping a shot at the par five second, before birdies at the fifth and seventh saw him home in one-under 35.
In the team event, O'Sullivan's 100 point total never came under threat with David Ryan's team finishing second on 95 points.
