Overseas raider takes top spot at Kirriemuir

Steve Craig , Germany-based professional, shot an  five-under-par 63 to win the individual scratch prize by four shots from Edzell pro Alastair Webster in the (Scottish) Midland Golfers' Alliance competition at Kirriemuir Golf Club, Angus

Gary Smith, who plays off six at Scotscraig, won the handicap prize with an impressive net 63. 

In the team competition three teams scored 58. Jim Meddicks (Murrayshall) (9), Davie Hutchieson (Murrayshall) (7) and Dennis Redford (Murrayshall) (10) came out on top by virtue of having a better last six holes.
