The PGA in England (East) have reached an agreement with Pergall Media which will see the Winchester-based business become the region’s new broadcast provider in 2014.                   

Led by managing director Andy Steggall, Pergall Media has enjoyed great success in creating programmes for the BBC and Sky Sports, among others. For several seasons, they have made the Late Kick Off football series for the south, south west and west regions.

This year will see them covering six order of merit events with content developed for the PGA’s digital platforms. A package will also be made available for further use by major sports channels.

Steggall’s aim is to showcase not only the high quality of the players in the region, but also promote the courses that the six events are staged on.

John Smith, regional secretary for the PGA in England (East) said: “I was very impressed with Andy when he explained to me his vision for coverage of our tournaments. His approach is a fresh and exciting one and we look forward to working with Pergall through the season.”
