PGA Chief Executive Robert Maxfield was one of a number of key people from within the golf industry who spoke at this year's GolfBIC Online conference.
The conference, which ran from March 2-4, was presented by the UK Golf Federation and OGRO – the Organisation of Golf & Range Operators. This year's event focussed on the topic of ‘Searching for golf’s new normal’ and included 45-minute presentations on all sectors of golf, with a Q&A session to conclude.
Maxfield spoke about the aims and objectives of The PGA, including the recent and most significant structural change in the Association’s history.
Other guest speakers included Keith Pelley, CEO European Tour, Phil Anderton – R&A Chief Development Officer, Craig Tracey MP – Chairman All-Party Parliamentary Group for Golf (APPGG), and PGA Member Fame Tate, owner of Stanedge Golf Club.
