PGA Cup duo hit form in PDC

PGA Cup duo Alex Wrigley and Jason Levermore both hit encouraging form in the latest PGA EuroPro Tour event at Chart Hills.

Hartlepool Golf Club’s Wrigley carded a second round 68 to sit at nine-under-par in the PDC Open while Jason Levermore (Channels) fired a 69.

Meanwhile Levermore's good friend Ian Ellis (Great Yarmouth & Caister) put on a sparkling display with a superb eight-under-par 64.

Wrigley and Levermore are part of Jon Bevan’s Great Britain & Ireland PGA Cup team who will play the United States in California at the end of September. They are bidding to become the first GB&I team to win on US soil in the PGA Cup's 42 year history.
