The 2024 PGA Fourball Championship Final takes place from 21-23 August at Carden Park in Cheshire, where 72 teams will compete for a share of the £33,250 prize fund.
David Llewellyn, Head Professional at Carden Park, is thrilled to see the tournament return to Carden Park for the fourth year: “We’ve hosted the PGA Fourball Championship for the last three years and we're absolutely delighted to have the opportunity to host it again in 2024. It's a great tournament and we love seeing the players challenging the Cheshire Course. It’s one of the most prestigious PGA tournaments so we're very proud to have been able to host it and looking forward to hosting it again this year.”
Leading to a dramatic finish, the Cheshire Course at Carden Park offers many challenges along the way. 2024 Great Britain & Ireland PGA Cup team member, James Walker (The Oaks Golf Club), and his playing partner, Nicholas Poppleton (Doncaster Town Moor Golf Club) enjoyed the course last year, and they go into the tournament as defending champions.
Walker’s 2024 PGA Cup team-mates, James Ruth (MiGolf), Adam Keogh (Woodhall Spa Golf Club) and Daniel Brown (Sene Valley Golf Club), as well as a number of past players, are also in the field, so the competition promises to be intense.
