Liam Greasley believes the close links he has built within The PGA family will be a vital component of GreenClub’s success.
The former commercial director has built up countless strong contacts and forged enduring relationships throughout golf, which will enable more members and partners to take full advantage of GreenClub’s exciting proposition for solar installations.
Greasley explained: “I’ve had a fantastic 13 years with The PGA.
“I had some phenomenal experiences from attending Ryder Cups and Open Championships to doing business with some brilliant people down the years. It really is like a big family.
“We engaged with some amazing venues which became part of The PGA’s family of branded properties across Europe and Asia, I was responsible for the PGA’s commercial relationships with corporate sponsors and worked with a great team.
“But joining GreenClub is a fantastic opportunity. Paul Cuddy and Karl Gallagher had been introduced to the PGA. Paul had a successful coaching career and Karl is a highly-successful environmental engineer.
“When the guys described what the proposition was, I became really interested in that and recognised that there was an opportunity to make a really positive impact within the industry and beyond.
“I felt it was a really strong proposition and a chance to build a brand which would not only have a significant impact on venue and the sport, but it also aligns with the drive towards carbon neutrality which is really important for all of our futures.
“It’s a chance to make a real difference to the golf industry.”
