PGA National Cyprus wins IAGTO Golf Experience Award

Aphrodite Hills Resort, PGA National Cyprus, has been presented with the International Association of Golf Tour Operators (IAGTO) Golf Experience Award 2020.

In celebration of the 20^th IAGTO Awards, IAGTO has introduced this new category for 25 leading golf destinations. The Global Trade Association of the Golf Tourism Industry with 680 golf tour operators from 65 different countries casted their votes for the award.

The winner was announced in the Bivouac du Desert, Marrakech, Morocco, in front of an audience of 1,500 international golf tourism delegates at the opening of the International Golf Tourism Market (IGTM).

Aphrodite Hills Golf Director, Andrew Darker, commented: ‘’Every effort that we put is made to implement environmental measures in the maintenance of the golf course which will benefit the environment and the game in the long term.

“Our aim is to maintain its high quality, in more sustainable and more environmentally friendly ways.’’
