Reece Phillips (West Essex) struck for the second successive season on home soil with victory in the West Essex Pro-Am.
Phillips, 25, has been a member at the club for many years and in 2014 recorded his maiden professional victory in the same tournament, thanks to a 68.
This year he went one better by firing a four-under-par 67 to beat Stuart Brown (Thorpe Wood) by two shots.
Phillips, who teed off from the eighth, made a fast start with an opening birdie. He picked up another stroke at his third to lay some early foundations for his success.
It wasn't all plain sailing as Phillips slipped up at his eighth. But he bounced back immediately at the next with a birdie - the first of four he made within five holes.
That scoring burst was sufficient to set him on his way to a 'home' win, with Brown coming closest to reining him in. The Cambridgeshire golfer notched six birdies in his 69.
James Scade (Ingrebourne Links) shot one-under to finish third, one better than David Salisbury (Three Rivers), who continued his solid run of form with a level-par 71.
