Power X Equipment 'delighted' to sponsor PGA Essex Open

Power X Equipment will sponsor this year’s PGA Essex Open Championship, which will be staged as part of two superb days’ golf on May 11-12 at Ingrebourne Links.

The Essex PGA has a great history and heritage, celebrating its centenary in 2021. The PGA Essex Open Championship is always one of the highlights of the county calendar – and the tournament’s status will be enhanced by this new sponsorship as well as a new venue for 2022.

Ingrebourne Links has developed a strong alliance with the PGA in England (East) in recent years with it playing host to the regional flagship championship, the East Anglian Open.

This was won in emphatic style by Mark Talbott last season and the Essex PGA professional said: “The Championship course at Ingrebourne is the best inland links course in the south-east and is a fantastic challenge to golfers of all standards.”

Two top days of golf will commence with a pro-am on May 11 before the coveted Essex Open title is competed for on the following day. A full field of 72 is anticipated for the 36-hole tournament.
