It has been a busy time in the East with eight pro-ams unfolding in an eight-day period.
The first of those tournaments was staged at Colchester where Neil Mitchell (Ipswich Golf Centre) and Richard Beadles (Royal Worlington) tied at the top.
Both men shot sizzling rounds of six-under-par to triumph by a shot from Luke Goddard (Hendon).
David Salisbury (David Salisbury Golf) ran out a convincing winner of The Grove Pro-Am. He fired a three-under-par 69 to score by three strokes from Daniel Field (East Herts).
Mark Talbott (Thorpe Hall) emerged victorious from the Hartsbourne Golf and Country Club Pro-Am.
Talbott signed for a five-under 66, one better than the score recorded by Jason Levermore (Little Channels Golf Centre).
Levermore also finished second in the Saffron Walden Pro-Am – alongside Chris Cutchie (Colchester) – as Nic Cains (Swaffham) confirmed his reputation as a rising star in the East with a winning score of 66 (six-under-par).
