Pro-Am Tour unveils 2012/13 schedule

The ever-popular American Golf Holiday Pro-Am Tour has unveiled its 2012/13 schedule with Ryder Cup venue Kiawah Island an exciting new destination for competitors.

The tour, now in its 19th season, offers PGA professionals and amateurs the opportunity to compete at golf's greatest tournament venues with guaranteed minimum prize money on offer from a potential $20,000 prize fund.

The stunning Scottsdale venues tees off proceedings with the Arizona Classic Pro-Am, (Nov 17-24) before moving onto Palm Springs, (Nov 24-Dec 1), for the California Classic Pro-Am.

Early 2013 sees the tour resume in Arizona again with the Scottsdale Classic Pro-Am, (Feb 2-9) which is staged immediately following the US PGA Tour's WM Phoenix Open.

Next stop is The Las Vegas Classic Pro-Am (Feb 9-16) while April heralds new territory for the tour with Kiawah Island, South Carolina from April 2-7, where the event will include play on the famous Ocean Course which previously hosted the 1991 Ryder Cup and will stage the 2012 US PGA Championship.

Competitors also have the option to extend to visit The Masters at Augusta with a special two night extended stay option which is free for PGA professionals travelling with a complete team.

The Pro-Am Tour returns to Florida for the Sawgrass Classic Pro-Am, (May 13-19) where an added bonus is the option to watch the final round of the PGA Tour's PLAYERS Championship and then compete on the course under tournament conditions the week after.

Wrapping up the season is The Pro-Am Tour at Pebble Beach, (May 23-28), which provides one of golf's greatest experiences.
